Here is a good tip for avoiding having to respond in class. This only works for large classes where the professor calls out by last name and probably doesn’t know you and may not really be great advice, but worked when I wanted to be lazy….I got married between when I was accepted to law school and when I started classes so my last name changed. When they would call on Ms. Dougherty, sometimes I didn’t respond since that was no longer my last name. I shot dirty looks to my fellow students who knew my maiden name. Don’t get married just to avoid getting called on.:)
