Lawrence Taylor may not be in the clear but some new evidence may work in his favor concerning the recent statutory rape charges. It was reported by MercuryNews.com and various other sports networks that a 23-year old woman who apparently accompanied the 16-year old girl and the alleged pimp to the hotel where L.T. was waiting is offering up evidence in L.T’s favor. When the 16-year old girl returned to the car, with $300 in hand, she reportedly told the woman that she and Lawrence Taylor had not had sex. The 23-year old woman has offered up this statement in Taylor’s defense.

This is all stemming from an incident earlier this month that has resulted in statutory rape charges against Lawrence Taylor who is a retired NFL superstar and current Hall of Famer.
