Supreme Court Rules that Juveniles Can’t be Sentenced to Life Without Parole for Non-Homicide Crimes.

As was reported on AboveTheLaw, The Supreme Court ruled, in a 5-4 vote, that juveniles cannot be sentenced to life without parole for non-homicide crimes. The decision came in the case of Graham v. Florida. Graham was implicated in armed robberies when he was 16 and 17. The Supreme Court reasoned that the Constitution requires juveniles serving a life sentence to at least be considered for release.
